It operated out of two different stations, one at 6900 boulevard Guillaume-Couture (patrolling) and the other at 1035 chemin du Sault (headquarters, administration, operations support and investigations). Due to the limited size of the premises, major upgrades could not be made to existing buildings. A single station adapted to the required level of service was required to centralize police operations.<\/p>\n<p>To a certain extent, the Levis municipal court serves the same clientele as the police department. It implements the decisions rendered by the judges and requires police to be present when people in custody testify, are transported or appear before the court. For these reasons, the City wished to accommodate the municipal court and legal affairs in the same building.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><div class=\"flex_column av_three_fifth  flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding   avia-builder-el-7  el_after_av_two_fifth  avia-builder-el-last  \" style='border-radius:0px; '><section class=\"av_textblock_section \"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock  '   itemprop=\"text\" ><p><strong>Client :<\/strong> City of Levis<br \/>\n<strong>Budget scope :<span style=\"color: #0079c0;\"> Not available<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Implementation :<\/strong>\u00a02017<br \/>\n<strong>Location :<\/strong> Levis, QC<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0079c0;\">TRINORD&#8217;s role<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>Project review and identification of optimization options:\u00a0The mandate was to advise the City of Levis in reviewing the project basics with respect to scope and costs, based on an assessment of the needs of the various departments concerned (3). Based on data from the 2016 functional and technical program and meetings with various stakeholders, the specific objective was to identify ways of optimizing the project in order to align the budget with the municipal vision and requirements.
